Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month
August 1, 2021 – August 31, 2021 CDT
Observe Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month each August. Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month is sponsored by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Children’s Eye Health and Safety advocates encourage parents to take children for an eye examination as part of their back to school check list.
In addition to immunizations and school orientation, both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month campaigns encourage eye examinations in advance of the school year. Children’s learning can be impacted by eye sight problems. The inability to see correctly affects not only academic performance but also athletics and self-esteem. Start the new school year out right by making sure that your student is seeing clearly!
Personalized Cause supports Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month with awareness products. These awareness products include awareness pins, personalized awareness pins, awareness wristbands, and personalized and non-personalized fabric ribbons.
