Arthritis Awareness Ribbons
Wear arthritis awareness ribbons to raise awareness about arthritis. According to the Global RA Network, as of 2021, more than 350 million people globally have arthritis. As a result, arthritis awareness ribbons are one of the most popular items on our website. Our ribbons, pins, and wristbands further recognize arthritis as the nation’s primary cause of disability.
Arthritis affects nearly 60 million adults and 300,000 children. There are over one hundred types of arthritis and related conditions that damage the joints and often other organs. Therefore, diagnosing arthritis is often complicated. Learning about the disease, setting up a treatment plan, starting on new medications, and possibly making lifestyle changes are important steps. The Arthritis Foundation resources may be helpful to learn more about a particular form of arthritis. Wear an arthritis awareness ribbon to show your support.
Awareness Ribbons Educate Others
Sharing your diagnosis with others is also important. However, explaining a complicated diagnosis such as arthritis can be challenging. For example, it is difficult to explain conditions such as juvenile arthritis or RA. Wearing a blue awareness ribbon or a purple and blue awareness ribbon to represent these causes may be an easier way to start a conversation. It’s important to have conversations about arthritis, its symptoms, and treatment options.
