The rainbow infinity symbol embraces neurodiversity and the neurodivergent identity. It represents neurodivergent individuals, as well as to celebrate infinite cognitive diversity and potential. Further, the infinity sign symbolizes endless variations in the human nervous system, the core essence of neurodiversity. The rainbow colors represent inclusion across the full spectrum of identities, strengths, and experiences within the neurodivergent community. Infinity neurodiversity pins were adopted by the neurodiversity movement as of the late 199s, particularly through Aspies For Freedom and Neurodiversity Pride organizations. The symbol is prominently used on Autistic Pride Day, June 18, as a mark of self-advocacy and celebration.
